The owner of Hippie Chick granola is the kindest person you will ever meet! Honestly- she is a sweetheart who would give you the shirt off of her back. The granola is amazing and the best you will ever taste! Oh how I love Tamara's blend!!!! You can order online and the service is great! Makes a perfect gift to send to a friend, teacher or loved one. You will not be disappointed!!! Highly recommend!!!!!
Sure, I've had granola before. I've even had fancy granola before. But I connected with the chef/business owner behind Hippie Chick Granola on Instagram, and all the photos she was posting had my stomach growling and my mouth watering, and made me think this granola was going to be different. And it is.
She sells online but I'm lucky to live mere minutes away from her shop so I went in and picked up a couple of different flavors - Kimberly’s Blend, which is ginger granola with pecans & cherries, and Alison's Blend, tropical fruit granola with coconut and almonds. I could have killed the first bag (Kimberly's blend) in hours if my wife didn't intervene and these are 12oz bags we're talking about! The combinations are so unique and the textures and freshness are so apparent, I am hooked and could never go back to a life of average granola again!
My boyfriend and I visited Oak Island this summer and came across the Hippie Chick at at local bazaar. By far, some of the best granola I have ever had. So delicious, we can't wait to get our order. Our favs are Bernice's peanut brittle and PALEO.

This review is not about the quality of the granola. The granola at hippie chick is simply amazing! This review is about the lack of customer service that I received when going to Hippie Chicks to give them my money. My girlfriend and I came to the store and were not greeted. We then decided to go around and taste the granola. It was excellent! We decided to purchase. The store owner was helping another customer. She never acknowledged our presence. After standing around for about five minutes waiting to get some attention we decided to put the granola we really wanted to purchase down and walk out of the store with our money in our pockets. No granola today! We spend our money where we are treated well! Customer service is everything. Even when you have good granola.
