Prices were very reasonable, food was okay, but service is only excellent if you are a local. Locals came in after us and received their food 10 minutes before us and we ordered simple food, took forever to pay our bill to get out of there.. Unfortunately we bought property close by and we're looking for "staples in our community " but this place will not be one of them!
Asked for a change of cheese on burger, cook came out and berated me for changing his menu, waited an hour for our food while the locals tell us he is holding our food back because we asked for a change. Food came finally, was a blend of cheddar and the cheese i dislike, i couldnt eat it. My wife asked for no cheese, but her food came with cheese. Treated badly, will never come back
Great staff. They accommodated our large group of 19 and we're so gracious and patient! We wanted a place within walking distance that evening and brought 7 kids under 12 with us. Food was good and reasonably priced. Wait was short for a group of our size.
Should have listened to the reviews! Went for what we thought would be a "quick" dinner.
1st time visitor to Oak Island. Great food at a reasonable price. One guy was running the bar and waiting on the tables. He never missed a beat. Very friendly and personable. Will definitely be back.
