We were visiting Oak Island and lots of people recommended us to eat here at the Turtle Island. We understand why. The food and service was great! We ate so much thought we were going to have to get someone to drive us back to our hotel. Great place can't wait to go back.
We came to town Christmas weekend with the family and all of us had something different and everything was delicious. Everyone was so nice and we didn't have to wait long at all. Highly recommended place for great seafood and steak.
Great place for seafood. Service was great. They have the best hushpuppies in town. Wednesday is half price shell fish night. Get there by 5 pm or wait in line. Atmosphere is sort of biker bar like, but not unpleasant.

Looked like a Triple D possibility but failed to deliver on the food and beverage front. Hostess was on point for a somewhat busy night. She was far and away the best part of the night. Bartenders were very slow to recognize and then serve. Coconut shrimp was overdone and lettuce was wilting. Recommended ribeye was average. Maybe we caught them on a bad night but we had better meals while visiting Oak Island.
